"Thea - Expert Tutoring"
My first Massachusetts teaching license was for ESL/ESOL. I decided to major in ESL/Bilingual Education when I was living in Ecuador and teaching English; I realized that I enjoyed teaching a topic that was so relevant and immediately useful for my students. My instruction focuses on the four domains of language acquisition (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and is available across grade levels, ages (school-age to adult), and subjects. ... More
I would recommended Arron highly to anyone who needed a tutor. I was struggling in statistics and my husband suggested a tutor and actually went on-line to find Aaron. My test scores improved and I am able to maintain my 4.0 GPA even after statistics.
He is a Gem!

"Successful Supervisor, Teacher, Coach and Advisor. "Aim for success.""
My manufacturing career involved many instances of teaching. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, I had to assure that the instructions used to manufacture or package were clear and precise, as well as understood by a diverse group of individuals.
We all have different ways of learning through our unique strengths. I have found ways to accommodate everyone from the visual to hands-on learners, and can help technical readers as well. Through self-study, I found that I am a very visual learner and ... ... More
My 7 year old son has worked with Jennifer for six months. Despite being bright, he couldn't master phonemic awareness and phonics through his instruction at school alone. He felt stupid and avoided books at all costs. Now he has begun to read proudly and states that 'Journal Time' is his favorite activity at school. He walks down the hallway with his nose buried in a book!
What helped immeasurably was Jennifer T's ability to pinpoint instruction to his exact level. She scaffolded lessons so that he was always successful and encouraged him to stretch to the next level. She provides him with games, activities, physical touch cues and even dance moves to help him master phonemic awareness! He has so much fun, he wants to go to tutoring (and this is a very active little boy!). She has provided me with resources to better my own understanding and consistently provides us activities and materials to help us at home.
I am an educator myself and felt helpless that I could not help my own child learn to read. We needed an expert and feel blessed we found one. Best of all, my son found not only a teacher but also a cheerleader and a friend.

We've been extremely happy with Michael K. He has been tutoring my daughter in math and preparing her for MCAS which she has struggled with. He has a lot of patience and really seems to be relating well with her. I think anyone would be more than happy with him.

Many people think of algebra as the branch of mathematics in which you have to figure out the value of variables. While this process is certainly part of algebra, the study of algebra is actually the study of relationships between elements that change over time, such as demand for a product and its price.
Most American students begin their study of algebra with an introductory unit in their middle school or junior high math courses. In this unit, they are usually exposed to very basic algebraic equations, such as X + 3 = 8, and taught how to solve these equations for X.
In Algebra 1, in addi ... More
