Helen contacted me immediately- the very morning after I messaged her on WyzAnt the night before. She was open to us meeting later that day to see if we were a good fit. We spoke and I felt comfortable being open with her about my anxiety towards accounting and school work and that I have not been doing any work on my class for the past 2 months or so! She is nonjudgmental, is always at the appointment on time, is flexible and available for tutoring but she does have to schedule around her other students. I haven't had an issue with scheduling with Helen and I have a busy schedule. She has always been able to accommodate, even if that means meeting at 8 PM on a weekday night for an hour or so and on weekends for 4 hours at a time. Helen has worked in accounting and is an experienced tutor. I like that she looks at the material ahead of time before our session. Tell her what it is you plan on working on, give her access to your ebook if you can or send the homework problems you are having a tough time with. She will do the problems and then explain them to you so make the most of your sessions. Her rate of $35 an hour is very reasonable too. She is responsive to emails and phone calls. I recommend Helen as your accounting tutor!
