We were very pleased with Anna and wish she had stayed on as a tutor. If she ever returns, we would hire her again in a heartbeat. Our son needed a refresher in Chemistry. He stayed focused, made progress and learned even though it was August and he had a summer job.. He was motivated and she was a good teacher. She was professional, organized and expert in her field. It was definitely the right match.

Kateri has been working with my son to help improve his SAT reading scores as well as writing his college essay. She is intelligent, kind and patient. Her vocabulary is extensive and she never ceases to challenge my intelligent son. She has helped to improve his vocabulary and has encouraged him to write his rough draft of his college essay over the summer, which is not an easy task for most children that look to avoid summer "homework". She helps to push him to a higher intellect level. She is wonderful!

Marc has been tutoring two of my children, a 13 year old and a sixteen year old, both males, and he has been doing a fantastic job. He is responsible and dependable. He is patient. He explains well. He adjusts his lessons so both of my sons look forward to the tutoring and value it highly. They both have very good grades in math, and for at least one of the boys, his grade is substantially better than it would have been without the tutoring. The other boy's grade is definitely improved as well.

Since 2003, I've tutored dozens of students for hundreds of hours in algebra for coursework and for standardized tests. I've also written and edited sections of workbooks, teacher editions, exams, and software packages for algebra. Because of this experience, I know multiple techniques for students to learn algebra skills, and I'm able to adapt our sessions to your student's strengths and weaknesses until we find the learning methods that work best for a particular session.
Algebra is also the shared worldwide language of science and engineering, business, digital arts or any other quantitati ... More
This gentleman has now been my tutor for four weeks and I have excelled in my classes of graduate level Pharmacology and Pathology. Last evening Dr. W. and I conducted a two hour intensive review to prepare me for upcoming oral examinations. He proved to be more exceptional and patient than ever. I learn so much from our sessions that I have decided to continue my study with him for longer than initially thought.
