First day was pretty good. Everything went well very and Astride was patient, I will admit to that. Then the second day we were supposed to meet at 10 a.m., but she was late. I waited 10 minutes but still no show. Then the third time we met for only 15 minutes, which was pointless. We also didn't get to the point of what I was actually trying to learn. Overall an, alright tutor.

"Uplifting and Knowledgeable- your multi-faceted tutor!"
I played piano for 8 consecutive years with a private instructor and still play on a regular basis. From basic notes to chords and extensive flats and sharps, I can teach it and love it. I have a nostalgic passion for it and will continue to teach others until I am old. :) ... More

Larry is very patient and knows how to tie concepts together which is crucial for vector calculus. In the short time together he helped me understand things that have been confusing me for weeks. Double thumbs up!

I'm not a native English speaker but I have been teaching English at different levels for many years. I can clearly see what students have problems with and improve their learning and understanding. I can help them to develop the strategies to overcome this problems on the basis of my experience as both teacher and learner. I believe that my experience as an English teacher will be very helpful to those who are learning English as a second language. I also have experience of working with student who are not native speakers; when working with them I have developed strategies to learn more effic ... More

Kateri has been working with my son to help improve his SAT reading scores as well as writing his college essay. She is intelligent, kind and patient. Her vocabulary is extensive and she never ceases to challenge my intelligent son. She has helped to improve his vocabulary and has encouraged him to write his rough draft of his college essay over the summer, which is not an easy task for most children that look to avoid summer "homework". She helps to push him to a higher intellect level. She is wonderful!
