I really enjoy teaching Algebra 1. I had to relearn many of the concepts to become highly qualified, and to teach it and, as I relearned it, I understood why some of them did not make sense the first time through. A lot of math understanding is actually language understanding, so I work to make sure students understand every word that I use or that is on their homework.

I am somewhat of a tutor "junkie." I don't have the time to take a formal class in math or physics. I have some very pointed, as well as some general questions in math and physics. Some times I just need someone to talk to me "one-on-one" to explain to me, in simple terms, that which I can't understand on my own. Menny fits the bill. He has a vast knowledge base and is able to explain in just enough detail to make it "click." I have a tendency to ask a lot of questions, I am very curious and love the joy of learning a new concept. Menny always says "You can ask me any question that you want." He doesn't get annoyed if I ask the same question over to get clarification. If you have trouble with math, Menny can help. I have used a lot of tutors over the years, Menny is a "find."
