Lisa has really been a terrific tutor for our entering first grader. She's been working with him on strengthening his literacy skills, and brings the right mix of patience and push that he needed. Lisa worked to understand our son's interests and choose books and topics that engaged his imagination and interest, and kept him focused on the task at hand - not the easiest thing to do for a six year old at the end of summer! I'd highly recommend Lisa as a great tutor for elementary students.

Had a comprehensive lesson on how to create a simulation from stubbing all the way to execution. Helped me resolve numerous coding bugs and work with pointers which I had a lot of trouble with.

Lee is excellent at working with my daughter who partly has a Non-verbal Learning Disorder. Currently, Lee is helping her with the writing process and reading comprehension, and has really made a noticeable improvement to my daughter's confidence in these areas. Lee uses a blend of teaching techniques that are both classic and creative that my daughter can respond to. She is also a pleasure to work with.

"Reading, Writing, Public Speaking, Study Skills and Stress Reduction"

When beginning writers write, they often feel that their work ought to come out perfectly. But writing well is a process with many steps: choosing a subject and attitude, creating a structure for the ideas, organizing, word and sentence review, rewriting for clarity and power. I can create enthusiasm for the writing process and will teach step by step methods that help student succeed. ... More
