Richard was wonderful with my 12 year-old son. My son needed to do a fair amount of Spanish work over the summer, and not only did Richard help him work through the material, he motivated him to think through it himself. I was worried that my son would feel like the summer work was punishment, but he looked forward to working with Richard. So pleased!

I have been teaching English for 10 years at after school programs and tutoring one on one. Many students do not learn the same way. They have their own way of learning. Some students are more auditory and some may be more visual. The experience with students helps me to find new ways of teaching that can help students learn in a more efficient, practical and fun way.
I have had several experiences working with non native English speakers. I help with speaking, reading, writing and listening English. Grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary are many areas where help is needed. ... More
