Mark although extremely knowledgeable can be kind of intimidating. It would be more helpful if he was more instructional. Many times he assumes that the student has certain information which they may or may not have. I think he needs to assume that the student knows less rather than more. He is extremely nice and accommodating.

He is courteous, punctual, importantly has great command of the English Writing. Peter H. is a great tutor. He teaches my son very well. My son is in high school tells me that Mr. H. is a tough tutor as well- as he grades his work very hard. I like it how he tries to make my son to improve his writing skill, so he is well prepared for college. He is well-versed in literature as well. Overall, I think Mr. H. is a great tutor.

I am very happy I chose Izumi-san! She comes highly recommended!!!
I have been going to Izumi-san since September of last year once a week. Now I can read Hiragana & Katakana. I can go to Mitsuwa and pick up words. Friends of mine are amazed at how much I have learned and a big part of that comes from the fact that Izumi-san is a wonderful teacher. She has loads of experience.. She wants the best for her student & my favorite part about learning from her is she keeps things interesting. Interesting enough for me to remember Japanese vocabulary or writing!
She is very interactive, uses great tools (books, cards, games, SONGS!)

Dan is an extraordinary chemistry tutor. He is so adept at explaining abstruse material in such a way that you will wonder why you ever found the subject matter difficult to understand. After Dan explains in detail the new concepts, he presents shortcuts that are so practical that even I will have to go to great lengths to forget. Besides his extensive knowledge, Dan is humble. In my book that means alot. Keep up the good work and thank you s-o-o-o much!

"AP Chemistry, Organic and General Chemistry - Years of Experience"
As a chemistry major in college, I was required to excel in algebra skills (computers were not invented yet!). Consequently, I became very good at algebra, both Algebra I and II, not to mention some trigonometry.
I enjoy helping students who may be intimidated by a subject, either because they cannot connect with the big ideas, or maybe they have a poor professor. I can help increase your confidence and proficiency so that you will feel comfortable taking the class and in taking exams.
You will find that I am very understanding no matter what skill level you possess now. I can help you a ... More
