"High School Senior for Math and Sciences: Cheap yet Effective"
A few things about me that you may want to know.
I am the student, the night before a major test or quiz, who gets spammed on Facebook with questions. I am the student who others get annoyed at for ruining the curve on exams. I am the student who understands your child's frustrations, as I tutor my younger cousins in the same subject areas.
My looks may be deceiving, but I am a high school senior at Voorhees High School and yes, I am a Korean-American who speaks fluent Engli... ... More
Mallory tutored my high school senior as she prepared for her SAT's. In just 5 weeks (once a week tutoring session) Mallory was able to enhance my daughters English/writing skills enough to increase her SAT score by 100 points! Mallory also helped in editing my daughters college essay and my daughter has since been accepted to ALL 9 of the colleges she has applied to!
Mallory was always very punctual and got right down to teaching. She is an excellent tutor and I will use her again for my younger children in the future.

"Math major who knows her stuff!"
My name is Alysse and I graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in mathematics. While at Fairfield, I tutored freshmen and sophomores in all levels of Calculus. I also tutored high school students in the town of Fairfield in all levels of high school mathematics. Some of my students improved their grades by as much as 20%.
I use a unique approach that requires the student to learn the material by taking one step at a time so that they can not only solve math problems correctly, but... ... More
Our son hated Spanish and did very poorly last school year. We hired Gail to help him out over the summer, and she exceeded our expectations. Not only was she knowledgeable about Spanish, but she was also able to help our son gain new confidence and believe in his ability to learn the subject.
It's still early in the new school year, but our son's Spanish teacher said she's impressed with his improved proficiency and attitude. Thanks, Gail!

"Warm, Caring Tutor Who Will Help You Feel Great About Learning"
Spanish became my favorite subject in high school, but only after an initial struggle! For my first two years, it was really tough. Then, in my third year, it all made sense, and there was no stopping me! I majored in Spanish in college, and enjoy using my skills to this day. SO! I understand how it feels to struggle with learning the language, and can empathize with the student who is having a hard time. It is enormously gratifying to see my students overcome difficulties in learning Spanish, and enjoy success. ... More
"“What is Knowledge, without the Wisdom" "
I believe vocabulary learning is an important component in language learning. It is designed to successfully prepare students for their future endeavors in life and/or the all important SAT and ACT tests. Moreover, Building a strong SAT vocabulary is absolutely crucial for an elite score on the SAT exam, but students at any SAT score level will benefit greatly from adding new words to their vocabulary. Bottom Line, without vocabulary, you cannot form and understand sentences. If you don't know what the words you read mean, you can't understand what the material says. If you don't know what the ...
