Update: My son's first report card is back: a B+!! This term he is on course to get an A!! *** We are so happy with Michael. He is patient, warm and caring as a person, and knowledgeable as a tutor. Mike explains work step-by-step to my 9th grade son, and gives him great tips in helping him achieve with Intermediate Algebra! My son's biggest struggle is the transition from middle school math to the accelerated math. It seems a big chunk of knowledge was missing. Mike has been able to help him build confidence, organize his work on paper, and rebuilding what was lost between middle and high school. We are delighted to have him, and getting our money's worth.

I have been singing for approximately 20 years of my life. I use a variety of instruments including guitar, piano, and harmonica, in order to train my own ear. I am particularly strong with developing and teaching melody and harmony. Furthermore, I am in a glee club where we are encouraged to ear train and learn music by ear. ... More

Before Leonard helped tutor me for my Algebra 2/Trig regent, I believed I was going to fail. After he helped me so significantly, I got an 80 on my regent. During my tutoring sessions Leonard thoroughly explained anything I didn't understand and helped me prepare for my regent very well. He is very dedicated and I believe I would not have even passed my regent if it wasn't for him, let alone do very well.

Because Samuel tutors the multiple subjects of speaking, writing and acting, he offers a breadth, depth and variety that other tutors may not. His background in theology can't hurt either.

Melissa T.

We were very happy with Melissa's performance. She was hired at the beginning of my son's 5th grade. He has problems with math, not to mention that my son was officially diagnosed with ADHD. Melissa was able to make him work for up two hours uninterrupted with the short break. The results were amazing at the end of school year he progressed tremendously. Melissa means buisiness when it comes to tutoring, but my son liked her a lot. And on the other hand she is very pleasant. She was never late for her lesson, worked hard. Made sure that the homework was done, no matter how late it was. she was very reachable, meaning, I was always able to get in touch with her via text or email, and it is very important for a busy working mom. What is also important, that my son started to love math. She was also very successful in helping my son with other subjects. We will miss her a lot.
