"Excellent Spanish and ESL Tutor"

Hello, I've been teaching English and Spanish for 4 years. I've mostly worked with foreign students wanting to learn English and non-Spanish speakers living in Mexico. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient. I have a tremendous love for children and place a high standard on learning. I possess a calm attitude and a superb understanding of children’s needs. At the present time I am teaching preschool in an "All American" private school. This position enables m... ... More

Alex is very patient and interesting to work with. He has lived in Europe and can explain some of the cultural habits and quirks. He has the most reasonable fee I have seen and he would be great with children, teens, college students and adults. He does not have a stuffy attitude and enjoys teaching. I hope he continues to teach in the future as he makes the learning fun and has a great sense of humor. I have learned a lot about German grammar in the few weeks he has taught me. I am really enjoying the lessons. He put a lot of thought into his lessons. He is also very flexible with his timetable.

"Financial Journalist looking to tutor English, math"

I'm a writer, who likes math, which is how I've become a financial journalist in New York City. Through college I was always helping my math friends with writing assignments and my journalism friends with math homework. When I was an editor at my college paper, I was in charge of editing all the math stories since I was the only person in the newsroom who liked numbers. My first job after graduation was as an oil and gas industry trade analyst, where practical applications of math came in... ... More

"Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Grasshopper Tutor"

Hi, I'm an interior designer at a small Residential architecture and interior design firm. I'm their "BIM Manager" and am slowly converting the firm over to Revit from AutoCAD. When I was at school I was considered the best in my class in the Revit, so I consider myself competent in helping students who need assistance in rendering and modeling. I also specialize, to a lesser extend, Rhino and Grasshopper. At work I primarily use the two programs as modeling tools to supplement Revit. I can ... ... More
