Alisa took ample time to discuss my learning style and language goals. It is great that she is working with me one-on-one to tailor the tutoring sessions to meet my needs. Not only is her comprehension of the finer points of Russian excellent, but she is also able to explain difficult concepts clearly. She removed any apprehension I had about re-starting a difficult language.

"Masters Degree-Very Patient, Clear Math Tutor"

I have had dozens of Algebra 1 students, and I feel that it is a subject in which my teaching style really shines. Algebra 1 is a difficult subject for many students, because it is an entirely new way of thinking. When I teach Algebra 1, I really try to stress intuition over memorization of techniques and mindless repetition, because I believe algebra is actually quite straightforward if it is taught in a natural way. I aim for "light bulb moments" in which my students learn a concept they'll never forget ... More

I had my first session with Melody using Adobe Photoshop CS6. We discussed my interests my background experience with Photoshop and what it was I was interested in learning. From this point, we went on to explore the different features of the program organization of my photos, different formats jpeg, raw, and psd. We even did some touching up of photographs. The 3 hour session flew by. I'm looking forward to my next session, which I have scheduled. This lady has a lot of experience and can put it across in a way the novice like myself can learn. I am very satisfying lesson, and I'm looking forward to learning more. Photoshop is an amazing versatile program!
