"Russian tutor/interpreter from St. Petersburg"
I have been living in the United States for the last 20 years. Back in St. Petersburg, Russia, I worked as a research engineer and English interpreter specializing in the areas of technology and finance. I am also familiar with the medical and life sciences terminology in English and Russian.
Although I don’t have a formal education of teaching Russian, I was able to succeed in teaching both of my children to read, write and speak fluently in Russian. In addition, I have previous expe... ... More

Frank is an energetic, knowledgable and down-to-earth tutor. He assisted me in studying for my mid-term exam in general chemistry and was able to cut through alot of the concepts, theories and math to help provide a cohesive picture of the subject matter. His use of real-world examples helped to bring some very abstract concepts to life, I would recommend him to anyone and plan on having him assist me in the future!

"Affordable, Quality tutoring in Chemistry and Algebra"
Algebra 1 is the cornerstone of understanding math and science. I attempt to help students learn how to approach problems that require discovering unknown variables from known information, and how to recognize these situations in the many different forms they can take. I am very passionate about teaching algebra, but am more passionate about students learning it and having some fun along the way as they experience how algebra can be "learnable" and even practical. ... "Patient and Knowledgeable Excel, Word, Access, and VBA tutor"
I am a highly skilled professional with over 20 years using the MicroSoft applications. I have enjoyed teaching my colleagues Excel, Word, Access, and Visual Basic and wanted to expand my teachings to others. I've previously worked teaching Word and Excel at the Harris Business School in Cherry Hill, NJ.
I am willing to travel to meet students and even though I have a 2 hours cancellation policy, I am open to make up classes.
I look forward to hearing from you and assisting you to reac... ... More

"Successful sales/marketing exec. with college teaching experience"
My business experience has included both a strategic and tactical orientation. I have worked with Fortune 500 organizations as well as mentoring individuals with small businesses. The mentoring is done as a member of a local SCORE chapter. I enjoy providing this type of support to the small business community as I find it rewarding to help those just getting started. I find my skills and knowledge can be helpful to a wide variety of businesses.

I have to admit, I was looking for the cheapest tutor I could find, so Peter was not my first choice. But, I'm very glad I decided to meet with him. He is honestly the best tutor I've ever had. He takes the time to figure out where the root of my problems with algebra begin, instead of doing the work for me. He also explains everything in great detail and shows me shortcuts.
We've already covered order of operations, PEMDAS, distribution, the FOIL method, exponents of numbers, variables and parentheses as well as factoring. All of these topics were covered in 2 sessions and I fully understand all of them now.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Peter K. as a tutor. He is reliable and is helping me because he wants me to do well, not just to make a little extra cash.

"Oxford PhD Math Tutor - High School, College, GRE"
My qualification for tutoring GMAT is based upon (1) my academic record and (2) my workplace experience. Academic achievements include a BS (with honors)in Applied Physics and a Doctorate in Engineering Physics from Oxford University. This academic background requires considerably more advanced mathematical and analytical skills than are required for the GMAT. On the management front, I moved from a staff position at Oxford University to industry in 1974 as a section manager for the aerospace division of a privately owned instrumentation company. In 1982 I set up a subsidiary company specializ ... More
