There are a lot of rules for the English language that are difficult to remember, especially since the rules are frequently broken in a lot of the spoken language that we hear in conversation and on TV, radio, etc. Memorizing the rules one or two at a time then over the next few days making a notation of the times when the rule is used correctly or incorrectly in speech the student hears or reading that the student does will really make it much easier to remember the rules and use correct English.
