"History, Reading, and Science"
I think the opportunity to learn is one of the greatest things in life. As a magna cum laude graduate, I know how to thrive in school and the dedication required. During college I worked as a lab assistant and enjoyed the chance to share my love for learning. As a tutor, I can continue to help students explore the world around them and encourage them to succeed in school and life.
I specialize in history, chemistry and English, especially reading and vocabulary. Whatever the subject,... ... More

"Effective, Successful, Personable, and Often Highly Recommended"
Hi, my name is Sam. I discovered my teaching gift when I started tutoring as an employee at UWM as a sophomore in college. I was most often praised and most often sought after by the students than any of the other tutors. Then I tutored privately through word of mouth for about 5 years and could not keep up with the referrels and a regular job. I have the unique ability to identify the roadblocks students have with Math problems and lead them to the exact path around them by experiencing t... ... More

I looked for a while to find an Algebra 1 tutor that would connect with my 15 year old son. After searching many websites and given referrals for tutors, I decided to try WzyAnt. I scrolled through many profiles until I landed on John H. What struck me is he is a retired teacher and he willing to jump back in and assist students with their weaknesses. During our initial meeting, which typically lasts 30 minutes, John was eager to see where my son was at with his Math skills, and ended up meeting for over 1 hour and half. As a parent, it made me feel good to know that someone is willing to take the time to understand my son’s weaknesses. To this I would highly recommend John H for a Math tutor.
Thank you John for your patience!!

Ahmed is doing a wonderful job tutoring my son in geometry. He not only has the math knowledge, but has a clear way of translating it to the student. He got started right away, and identified the areas that needed to be addressed. We are very pleased with the progress in such a short time.
