"Lawyer and Business-man with a background in English Literature"
I am a top-notch writer, with experience in tutoring in this field. I began my writing career in college, when I achieved the status of being an Honors English student for the best English program in the country. During that time, I tutored both high-schoolers and college students in English. Thereafter, I furthered my writing skills in law school - and in the practice of law. Finally, I further and nurture such skills daily at my law firm.
Moreover, I love working with others. I have strong interpersonal skills, and I am here to help others; that is my driving purpose. ... More

Currently, I am 27 years old. Almost every year of my life, beginning with pre-K, I have been in some sort of theatre. I took flute lessons, voice lessons, speech lessons, and dance lessons throughout the years. Acting on the stage, making costumes, directing, choreography, hair/ make-up, and so forth, I've done it all. Some of my favorite roles include: the Street Singer (Three Penny Opera), Choreographer (Guys and Dolls), and Costumes (Inspecting Carol). Also, for the past four summers, I have taught UWM's College for Kids Theatre and Dance Programs (grades K-12). I love theatre, it is ... More

It is with great enthusiasm that I wish to become an English tutor. Through my teaching experiences teaching high school English for the 2011/2012 school year, advising the middle school student council, being in charge of the middle school year book, and teaching summer school in the Wisconsin Rapids School District, I believe I am well prepared for success as an English tutor. It is my hope that I may be able to apply my instructional abilities, strong work ethic, and motivational interpe... ... More
Ken set a good pace for the first session. He covered a lot of material and reviewed each step. He is very flexible and did not waste any time with chitchat, yet he did not rush through the material. I would like to keep working with Ken on mastering some more Excel and other Microsoft Office programs. He has already helped me start to get over some computer anxieties!

"Young, Fun and Energetic Tutor"
I am a young, fun, energetic and knowledgeable tutor that has a great rapport with students of all ages. I have worked in a school setting for the past two years as a learning assistant at New Berlin West High School, helping students with all subjects. I truly enjoy helping people and think that the most gratifying feeling comes from seeing a young mind grow before my eyes. My son felt Tim was a great tutor. He was patient, and gave my son different tips and ideas on how to take the ACT. This test has strategies on how to take it and Tim really seem to understand these concepts. Because he is a younger tutor, he is so familar with the test himself. Tim was always on time and very pleasant. Easy to communicate with. We were also happy to refer him out. Even our high school counselor was asking for his number.

"Notre Dame Student/Tutor Specializing in Math/Chemistry"
In addition to Physics 1 and 2, I am also able to teach the chemical engineering version of Thermodynamics 1. I will warn students, however, that Thermo is an incredibly diverse and difficult course, so while I will be able to teach concepts very well, my expertise may or may not be helpful for homework sets, depending on the complexity of the set and the emphasis of the course (if not Dr. McCready's Thermo 1 at Notre Dame). ...
