I was looking for a math tutor for my daughter who had just finished 8th grade. I found Cassandra on Wyzant. I wanted a younger female, someone my daughter could relate to and feel comfortable with. Cassandra was a great choice! My daughter says Cassandra was very patient, and explained the material in ways my daughter could understand. My daughter and I are BOTH looking forward to a better school year with math! Cassandra made her realize it's not impossible, and she CAN do it. I will also say Cassandra was flexible to work with, and very professional. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor.

Born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa, I taught high school students for 18 years in the area of math. The areas covered were Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. Roxanne M. is very patient, and very engaging, she makes it fun for my son. She obviously spend a lot of time preparing for my son’s tutoring session, by finding book on topics he likes and looking up examples which might benefit him on state testing. I was sure my son was going to be resistant to tutoring but he is not. So far he looks forward to meeting with Roxanne weekly. As a parent I could not ask for a better tutoring experience.
