I went from a 2.3 average GPA in high school to a 4.0 GPA in college by learning the right way to take notes, study, and read. The system I learned included everything from how to choose classes, where to sit in the classroom, what learning environment best suited me, note taking, reading, review and test taking.
My system worked for everything from basic math to genetics and neurophysiology classes. I was not only able to learn and pass exams and quizzes better than I ever had, i was able to retain more of what I learned for future use in the working world. ... More

I was not only a math major, but I am also certified to teach 6-12 math. In addition I have experience in teaching AP calculus. I have experience teaching in the Wisconsin/Illinois area as well as oversees. I am looking to moving towards doing more tutoring in order to allow me the time to stay at home with my young daughter.
The best part about teaching/tutoring is the ability to experience the small moments when students have those 'lightbulb' moments.
