"Just Pick Me if You Would Like to Be Tutored"
I am currently a freshmen at KU. I am looking to make some extra money for the holidays and future expenses.
My tutoring styles include aiding a student, but not doing his or her homework. I go through concepts and styles so the student learns how to do the homework and why the homework is relevant.
I have no preference as of where the tutoring would take place. Some suggested places, however, would be at the library, my dorm, or at the student's place of living. I do have my own ... ... More

Sean is an excellent tutor! He is very patient and knows the best way to explain some of the toughest topics in science course. His tutoring style is more discussion based, meaning you and him sit and discuss a certain topic from your science class in order to give yourself a better understanding. He believes this is the best way to work a tutoring session because if you can discuss a topic in a subject then you truly know it, and I completely agree. Sean has helped me so much in my Genetics class, and I now find that I have a better understanding of the course material thanks to his tutoring. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a tutor in a science course, especially a science course at the University of Kansas or any other area college!

"Cooper: Chinese Student, English Tutor"
I'm a recent college graduate of Southwestern College. Though theater was my major, my second love is China and Chinese-American English language exchange.
During school, I went to China twice. The first time was for a two-month internship, teaching English to office workers of BBCA Group in Bengbu, Anhui province. I created presentations of American culture for large groups, but also spent a lot of time working one-on-one with my coworkers, to help them improve their English to the level ... ... More
Jeff was a very good tutor! He listened, and explained the concepts very well. He never made me feel dumb for not understanding something. The way he taught was very clear, and thorough. I understood what he was saying, and my grades reflected that. Physics is a difficult subject, but he made it easier for me to pass this class. He was friendly, and a great tutor to work with! I would recommend him to anyone taking a difficult class!
