I took Organic Chemistry II in a four week mini session this past July. After the second week I stood at an F average. After just one session with Dewayne I made a 90% on the next quiz/test. Dewayne does an excellent job of breaking Organic Chemistry down to a understandable level. In just two weeks Dewayne taught me the basics along with everything I needed to know to be caught up. Thanks to Dewayne I successfully passed the class. Something I thought wouldn't be possible. I strongly would recommend Dewayne.

"Ms. Nicole, English Teacher"
As mentioned in my profile teaching English Language Arts will always be my passion; therefore, with tutoring I am allowed the best of both worlds. Currently, my daughter is required by her school to read several novels during the summer. For example, she has to read Steinbeck's The Pearl and I read the same novel by her side; not literally, LOL, so we either buy or check out two of the same novel. I'm educated at the Masters level for education and my certified area of interest is English Language Arts, grades 7-12. ... More

Elementary algebra is a fundamental and relatively basic form of algebra taught to students who are presumed to have little or no formal knowledge of mathematics beyond arithmetic. It is typically taught in secondary school under the term algebra. The major difference between algebra and arithmetic is the inclusion of variables. While in arithmetic only numbers and their arithmetical operations (such as +, -, ×, ÷) occur, in algebra, one also uses variables such as x and y, or a and b to replace numbers.
"I love to teach! My satisfaction comes when my students get it."
I have been teaching for many years. My knowledge base is mostly in the sciences. I have taught both in the classroom and on the job.
My most recent teaching experience was at Remington College where I instructed Medical Assisting Students in Anatomy & Physiology, Venipuncture, Cardiac Specialty Procedures, Medical Billing & Coding, and Algebra II. I was able to assist the student to increase their certification rate from 50% to 90% which was a satisfying accomplishment for all of us.
