My daughter, a sophomore in high school, has been having problems understanding Chemistry, and Gregory has been able to explain the material and keep her focused during several 2 hour lessons. He makes the material very clear, and checks to make sure that her understanding is correct. Not only does he have a great command of Chemistry, his teaching style is also engaging and effective. I'm glad to have Gregory working with my daughter to ensure that she does well on her Chemistry midterm exam. I highly recommend Gregory as a tutor.

Studying vocabulary is not just memorizing words in a dictionary; it is understanding word origins, pronunciations, meanings, antonyms, synonyms, spelling, and usage. Yes,some words do need to be memorized; but many can be remembered or figured out by knowing prefixes and suffixes or just using a mental image that relates to the sound of the word and making a connection to its meaning. If you have a difficult time passing vocabulary tests or writing in a clear, imaginative fashion, I am sure I can help you. ... More
