My daughter has struggled with math throughout high school. We hired Evan to help prepare her for the SAT and improve her math score. He is an excellent tutor, combining intense instruction with patience and humor. Evan helped my daughter improve her math skills and gain self-confidence. I highly recommend him!

"Top-Rated, Friendly, Effective LA/Online Tutor - 1700+ Hrs Experience"
Of all the subjects I tutor, SAT math is my specialty. I have helped almost 100 students over the years raise their score, sometimes by 100s of points. Having gotten perfect scores of 800 on practice tests myself I can transfer that know-how to your child and uncover what words or concepts they don't understand which would block them from full certainty. I greatly enjoy seeing my students discover the solution for themselves rather than spoon-feeding them. I look forward to helping your student. ... More

I would highly recommend Rhona. At our first phone meeting she asked many questions concerning our needs. She is easy to contact and easy to schedule tutoring sessions. Rhona guided us toward the right direction for our concerns. She is very knowledgeable in her field of tutoring in all subjects. Her experience in the military with ASVAB is a added plus. We saw a good connection and improvement right away.

For someone like me who has relatively awful handwriting (thanks to past carpal tunnel syndrome issues) yet still has to effectively and efficiently use Word Processing to get work competitively done in my freelance Marketing and Media career, I have learned over time to make the most out of MS Word without injuring myself further, so I am open to helping others out there who are not as familiar or comfortable with MS Word to make the most out of it too. ... Carrie, saved my grade. As simple as that. I was completely lost in my calculus class at UCLA and she recapped the entire first half of the quarter for me. She pointed out the details that i needed to know, we did practice problems, she reviewed my homework and my quiz. Along with that, she not only helped me finish the practice midterm my teacher emailed us but she made another practice midterm on her own time. Carrie is very flexible, I can text/call her a few days before I need help and she's available and works with my schedule. I aced my midterm, and I'm seeing her again in two days! The most important thing is that we don't waste time, she isn't slow at helping me, she reviews the material before the session so we get a lot done in a little amount of time.

I am a returning student. I live in Greensboro N.C. and I was traveling for the entire week of the thanksgiving break, to see family members in Glendale, California. I am taking a pre-calculus class; my class was beginning a new chapter in the text, and unfortunately for me I would be missing two classes. Being able to meet with a wonderful tutor like him in California worked out perfectly. He was an exceptionally patient tutor; he explained the theory behind the math, and was a great help to me. On my return back to school; I discovered that I was a section ahead of the rest of the students and had a better understanding of the chapter overall. Thank you.
