Ernesto, you came over and were not prepared to help me with the homework. You admitted you were rusty from learning it a while ago. You were mostly quiet during the lesson or repeated stuff I had said 5 minutes earlier. The help provided for the homework was close to 0 during the lesson. Then you sent me some general physics help with the hw, maybe a fraction of 1 problem. I came up with as much as I could on my own, and got a very low grade on the hw. It is great and all that you did difficult problems and that you said your approach is to help with concepts, but reality is I learned nearly everything by myself or in the review session. Why would I pay money to get close to no help? Did you teach me state-space, Laplace, setting up transfer functions? Point blank no. So to say you helped with general concepts is honestly just talk. I don't mean to be harsh but this is the truth, and I payed money to receive no help and then fail the homework- that is the reality. I think you might be a great tutor for other subjects, and I probably wouldn't hesitate to ask for your help in say high school calculus or something. But to not have prepared and not come knowledgeable on a subject you are tutoring is poor. I hope my review can help you understand what is expected of a paid tutor. It might seem harsh but I'm giving my honest, non-sugarcoated opinion. Good luck.

Mrs. Z was very helpful after just one lesson. She loves to teach and has a very easy going approach. She provides power points to go over when she is not teaching you a lesson, this helps you to retain what you have learned and practice. I have never taken Spanish classes before and I was struggling in my class. She has restored my confidence to learn Spanish. I am able to read and write Spanish more clearly in just two lessons.
