Andrew went above and beyond, spending extra time with me to make sure I understood the material. He is fantastic at explaining organic chem topics and mechanisms.

"Postdoctoral scholar in chemistry, happily tutoring all the sciences"
I started to familiarize myself with computers at age seven and have explored methods for accomplishing tasks more easily and efficiently from the outset. I'm familiar with many of the challenges faced by systems that can be, at first blush, arcane and foreboding. I'm equally confident that I can help users develop the confidence necessary to use computers with great aptitude.
I am proficient with both Windows (principally XP) and Linux (principally Ubuntu) but I can easily explain the mechanisms behind any operating system. ... More
I emailed Zak after a sleepless night trying to understand my Revit program. By the time I decided to use Wyzant services, I found I was in a panic mode - I needed to know my Revit program yesterday. Zak responded to my email quickly, set up a tutoring session within days, and at our first 3 hour meeting taught me more than I had gotten in all the time I had been trying to learn the program. I probably could have learned everything in the first two hours, but I had scheduled my first session for three, thinking I needed that extra time. I left his office feeling a LOT more confident in my skill level. Great investment.

"Become a modern day wizard"
Learning to code makes you a modern day wizard. I've been programming since I was about 10 years old and the thing I still remember is how much fun it was to make magic happen on a computer screen.
I see people open up so much creative possibility for themselves by learning to speak a computer's language. I believe that coding is an art and a science. It's important to learn the technical aspects so you can make things happen, but it's also important to understand it as a creative act. Ea... ... More
