I am an ASL fluent since I was 2 when my parents found out that I was deaf. I am currently working towards to my BA degree in a deaf studies program. I attended a school that provides a deaf program with teachers that teach ASL. I had an ASL interpreter for my mainstreamed classes since I can remember. Basically, ASL is my first language and English is my second language by default.
