"Language Arts and Literature Tutor"

I'm also a writer (fiction, nonfiction, screenplays and theater scripts - as well as cartooning!) but this keeps me pretty sharp in vocab, sentence structure, and original and e... ... More

Silvina made my son feel very comfortable with her. She taught him a few new things that he was quite pleased to learn. My son is much more eager to understand Spanish II than he has been before. He is not feeling as stressed as he was prior to meeting her with his challenges with Spanish. He looks forward to tutoring with her again soon.

"Sessions Geared to Individual's Motivation and Learning Style"
The most important skill anyone can acquire, and the one almost ignored by most institutes of learning, is how to learn. Some emphasize the old-fashioned “drill and kill†methodology while others latch on to every sort of new trend or fashionable system. In trying to reinvent the wheel or build a better mousetrap, they forget about that simple, universal, and time-tested concept: How to learn!

"Zairac: Physics, Mathematics, and Public Speaking Tutor"
I routinely tutor Physics and Mathematics though I am certified in a number of other subjects as well. My first love is Physics but Mathematics is a close second.
I have worked as a paid teacher's assistant in Physics setting up laboratory equipment for classes, presenting the material to sections, and helping the students perform the experiments.
I, temporarily, received an "F" in Cosmology. My professor had missed grading my paper because he found it so interesting that he took it home ... ... More
