"Clear & Student-Centered"
I have been teaching in various capacities for over 10 years, including internationally. Through living abroad and learning various languages (a polyglot!), I enjoy working in the one on one format where I can provide individualized support. My M.A. is from St. John's College in Eastern Classics, and my double B.A. is from Vassar College, in Chinese and Anthropology. Topics covered include: single and two step equations, word problems, graphing, solving systems and introduction ... More

"Cool Competent (20 Yr Educator) Creative Coach"
I have taught in San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Marin's multi-cultural, diverse public and private schools for 20 wonderful years. I feel that learning is a dynamic, motivating, creative, cool, collaborative, communicative, enjoyable, and transforming experience. My background is strong in English/Language Arts, Fine Arts, Math, and Computers. An example of a successful project was to integrate creative arts and computer skills into my English classes, having students researching family histories and putting a book together.
