Kiyan is a very patient and competent economics tutor who takes teaching to heart! She relates to students in way that simplifies information and makes learning easy. Kiyan helped reorganize and reiterate information in a clear & concise manner. Kiyan is pleasant, knowledgeable and obviously enjoys teaching. I'm glad I found her. Highly recommended.

Charles helped me review everything from limits, to natural logs, to various types of differentiating equations. He combined a use of intuitive learning with detailed examples and practice problems to illustrate his point.

"Creative Math - ADHD Students"
When I began tutoring a few years ago, I firmly believed that anyone could do well in mathematics, all the way through Calculus, provided you are relatively fluent in a few formulas and make time for regular problem sets. My experience over that time has only confirmed my suspicions, and its has been a great pleasure to work with many of my students. I have always found joy in getting to the point of a big concept and keeping the focus on the purposeful real-world applications that many of ... ... More

We really enjoyed our session with Anthony. Since he is a native English speaker who learned Italian on his own, he was very attuned to the needs of students learning a foreign language. He was prepared with worksheets and sample dialogues that we might use on our trip to Italy. He worked at a comfortable pace and was very patient. We would highly recommend him.

"Italian Language Tutor"
I am an Italian-American, born and breed in the Bay Area. My father's great-great grandfather, a Sicilian, came to Ellis Island in 1893. When I was a teenager, I only knew a handful of words, all through my father's occasional teaching. I hired a tutor while in high school and taught myself Italian, going on to get a BA and MA in the language. In 2001 I also lived in Siena and Rome for the summer. For 2 years I taught Italian language and culture courses at the University of Conn... ... More
