"Master Teacher D.C (M.A Education)"
I have been in education in some capacity for over twenty years. My mother, father, and most immediate family are teachers. I began my journey in education as a TA in a summer school program. I began substitute teaching as soon as I graduated from Hayward State. I was fortunate enough to combine substitute teaching with professional soccer. I did this until my late twenties when I began life as a full-time teacher. I earned a BA degree (Liberal Studies with a minor in Black Studies) and an ... ... More

"Rick B - English & Social Science Specialist"
Although I am not a scientist, I am an fascinated student of the human body. This interest began when I took my first anatomy course in high school, and continued with a great human biology class in college. Most science classes, including anatomy, have numerous unfamiliar terms, and my techniques for memorizing and learning the various systems work for many students. These include developing mnemonics, drawings and detailed flash cards. It may sound simple, but it works!
I look forward to working with you to succeed in this class. ... More

I hired Anicia H to help my 17 year old daughter in Algebra II, a junior in High School. The experience was awesome from my end as a parent. She was very communicative and always on time or early and returned any of my calls promptly. We felt a sense of comfort with her right away from the first phone conversation, and for some girls who prefer a female as a tutor, I clearly made the right choice for my daughter. Anicia is very knowledgeable in Math and helped our daughter improve greatly in just over 3 weeks. Thank you so much Anicia! I would highly recommend Anicia. Thank you very much!

"Change Your Mindset for Math!"
This is my most favorite subject to tutor; learning the language of math! How to express words in variables, solve and graph linear equations, factor polynomials and understand functions -- they are all part of this course. My students have gone from failing to at least passing when I work weekly with them on building their math skills. Practice, practice, practice -- it's the name of the math game! ... More
