Hi, welcome to Mike's response section. I'm a mathematics major at Portland State University, and I attended Mount Hood Community College where I tutored basic math, high school geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and the first class of the calculus series (math 251).

I created instruction materials and taught fellow employees on new computer software for materials management in a hospital environment. I more recently volunteered for SMART as coordinator managing volunteer readers for K-6, and enjoyed the days I covered for an absent reader and got to assist students with reading.

I have been teaching children with autism for 17 years. I received my certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis for Special Education in 2001 from Pennsylvania State University. I also have a degree in Occupational therapy. French has been my passion for many years, since I first started studying the language as a high school student. I have a Master's degree in French, and have also spent a year abroad, studying French in Strasbourg, France.
