"Patient and enthusiastic math tutor"
Thank you for your time and interest! I received my bachelors in applied mathematics from the University of Oregon in 2013, graduating with high honors and Phi Beta Kappa. I took advantage of one-on-one tutoring extensively throughout my own undergraduate education and found it to be invaluable for more deeply understanding and exploring course material, as well as brushing up on any topics I found confusing. It is my wish to offer this to other students. It is a genuine pleasure to watch a s... ... More
I was not happy with my oral communication. There was not much melody and flow in my speaking. I knew that I had to do something about it. I wanted to speak like a native. I just had a few of sessions with Paul but my experience was wonderful. He respected and recognized each individual’s uniqueness. Instead of setting you up to a pre-programmed tutoring format, he tried to adopt and fit into your own approach. Along the way, he explored words and phrases and the culture behind them, which you wouldn’t know about if you didn't grow up here. That is exactly what I need.

I have taught lots of workshops and have worked individually with people for many years to help them understand their pets. I also have done a great deal of public speaking to various groups. In order to become a veterinarian, I had to learn how to be a good student. So I feel more than qualified to help others learn this as I have. I ha... ... More
