"Experienced ESL Tutor Specializing in Test Preparation"
I have been tutoring young adults for the past ten years while teaching ESL overseas. I have found that dealing with individuals working for specific goals is rewarding because the students can feel a sense of accomplishment when they need a little help to find their own abilities. Working with individuals is very rewarding to both the student and the teacher so tutoring is as rewarding as working in a classroom situation. I feel that the students I tutor have a specific goal in min, and I a... ... More

Annie has been a great tutor for our daughter. After a few sessions with Annie, her scores and confidence are going up, and she is managing her assignments and understanding in her math class much better. Annie has been very responsive to our scheduling requests (which are sometimes a little last-minute) and has always been very punctual - and most importantly she seems confident in her understanding of the material and has been successful at helping our daughter increase her competence and confidence in math.

"Experienced tutor who enjoys working with all ability levels"
I have over fifteen years of experience teaching both one-on-one and in classroom settings and love meeting and helping people. In particular, I love working with teenagers and helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in high school and to prepare for college. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and intuitive which I believe is a good fit for students of that age. I also adapt my teaching methods to the needs of the student. My goal is to help you increase your self-confide... ... More

Katherine is a wonderful teacher and she helped us a lot. Our goal was to improve the fluency of our speech and Katherine was very creative and persistent in finding various ways to develop our conversation skills. She is very patient with the student so you always feel comfortable and confident at her classes. We definitely recommend Katherine to anybody who would like to make a significant and fast progress in English and to get much better in everyday conversation.

She is very active. Correcting pronunciation and creating better sentences made me more effective. Spending time to improve English is very important for me. Starting short conversation was really good, and I will try to turn on TV every day. Thank you for your advice and looking forward to seeing you at next lesson.
