An excellent teacher and tutor! Steve is able to focus in on where I need help, explain things so I understand them, and seems to have a thorough understanding of math topics. Recommended!

I am really happy to study English with Thomas. He knows how to teach and how to explain what I am confused. Thomas is so kind, friendly and ardent that everyone who meets him will like him. I hope I can learn English from Thomas as long as possible. I regret I didn't begin to study with him earlier. Thomas is a great teacher.

"ESL, English Grammar, reading, writing, ACT and French all levels."
My name is Thomas, and I have been teaching French and English as a Second Language for about 20 years. I love languages, and I have always said, "if there is a job that I do better in my life, that job is teaching." I am really gifted with languages; I am patient, helpful and detail-oriented. I began teaching English and French in the Democratic Republic of the Congo when I was 18 years old. I taught in schools of languages where people learned how to speak English and French. Christopher spent time with my son recently. Chris showed up on a Sunday morning and connected with my son who is very particular about people that help him. He reported that Chris helped him and he plans to spend more time with Chris through the remainder of this semester.
I found Chris to be very professional in regards to my interactions with him.

My daughter was very frustrated with grade level reading and writing. She saw Suzanne once a week for about 5-6 months and I saw much improved reading and writing, as well and more confidence in her ability to read and write. Suzanne was helpful, patient as well as having a sense of humor. She worked with the classroom teacher and her tutoring was right on track with what they were doing in the classroom. We had a great experience!

"Elementary and Special Education Teacher (K-8)"
I am a retired Massachusetts teacher with lots of elementary teaching (K-8) experience including special education. I retired early because it made sense after 34 years, but I still have the passion and desire to teach and watch kids blossom under my tutelage. I still work part time teaching math in a public school and keep up to date with the new Common Core Standards and best practices in education. I usually tutor in my home, but I sometimes (depending on my schedule) tutor in a student'... ... More

I have spent the last 20 years in the field of education, training and development. I have managed training programs, conducted over 1000 training sessions and taught over 200 undergrad and grad college courses (many were obviously repeats). I teach three types of courses: management, marketing and computer related. The most unusual place I ever taught was in a prison. In addition, I have an active role in both marketing my consulting services and in helping my clients as needed.

Sharon was a pleasure to work with. She is highly intelligent, gifted, and very professional. She not only worked with my daughter (who has a learning disability) but also with me so that I would better be able to help my daughter learn.
I found Sharon to be flexible in her scheduling, even allowing for last minute changes in appointment times. She was easy to contact, and returned my calls promptly.
She also has a lovely personality! Although we are no longer in need of a tutor at this time, I would hire Sharon again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her!

"Math, Music, Language, and Dance Tutor"
I found my knack for tutoring when I was in grade school assisting fellow students with their assignments, as I was always the first one done, and the teacher asked me to use the rest of the time to help my classmates. I was best at math and science, and I particularly enjoyed tutoring math. I attended the Mass Academy of Math and Science, a high school for gifted students.
I have been tutoring math, science, and English since 2008 and my students have all vastly improved their grades and ... ... More
