"English teacher, tutor, and professional writer"
I am an English teacher with nine years of experience, but I recently stopped teaching in the classroom to work from home. I am certified for grades 4-12, but I have only taught 4th, and 6th-9th. I love this age group! I tutored in college for four years, both high school and college. And of course, staying after school to help a student master a concept is also tutoring. :)
One of my favorite aspects of teaching was getting the time to sit down with students one-on-one to teach. This kind o... ... More

I've had an interest in ASL since making a deaf friend during my freshman year in college. Though she moved away after only a semester, I've dabbled in learning a little over the years. While searching for a grammar tutor in my area, the first tutor on the list was Ronnie T. I was thrilled to learn she was deaf. This in no way hinders her ability to instruct, and in fact I get to pick up a little ASL along the way.
Thus far my experience has been very rewarding, and more than I could have hoped for in a tutor. I have to remember to face her during conversations, and phone calls are out, but as we exchange our first languages, her ASL and mine spoken, the learning experience is unique and enhanced for me. I highly recommend her for grammar and ASL. Even if you don't need both, you'll be glad you did.
Update: Listening and hearing factor in to all forms of communication, written, verbal and ASL. Ronnie T's listening ability taught me a lot about being deaf...I consider that a lesson worth learning and remembering.

"English major with a passion for teaching"
Hi there! My name is Ashley, I'm 20 years old and I live in Tifton, Georgia. I'm currently on leave from college, where I am studying for an English education degree. Throughout my high school career, I took AP and Honors English/Literature courses and have always maintained, at least, a B+ average. For a long time, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, but then I found that my passion lies within helping others. What better way to help others than to education them and help them to... ... More

Geometry, Algebra I and Algebra II. Beth helped my son and daughter with three different subjects and was extremely knowledgeable in all subjects. She was very patient and was able to help my daughter grasp the concepts needed to complete her summer math packet in under two hours!

Paul is very easy to work with and easy to follow. He has a good teaching style and simple techniques and approaches. He is very patient and is aware that every student learns a different way so his teaching style is mindful of this which helps tremendously. I look forward to more tutor sessions with him. Very professional and reliable, thank you!

Physics is a very complicated subject to begin with. When one considers all the concepts and mathematics that is involved in physics, one can easily get confused. Especially if you have a teacher who talks over your head and NOT where you are (most physics teachers).
DAN is totally opposite! Dan has the ability to take complicated physics concepts and mathematical terminology and explain it in such a way that anyone can understand. When Dan was reviewing various concepts like EMAG, Optics, and Mechanics, he was compassionate, never judged, and EVERY TIME we met, you could feel that he was enjoying what he did best - teach. Dan has the ability to simplify and relate physics to everyday life.
If anyone needs a physics tutor, Dan is the man!!!
