"Experienced and motivated tutor, specializing in English topics"
Hello! I'm a Bay Area native who has always had a love for tutoring and have been tutoring on the side of my full time marketing career for the past 10 years. I specialize in English or college prep as I love seeing students achieve their dream and get into the college of their choice. I know from personal experience how hard applications can be for undergrad and business school and would love to help ease the anxiety with other students.

I was the annoying kid in reading circle that everyone had to wait for, not because I was stumbling and mumbling through my turn, but because I'd already read the whole book while waiting to read my sentence aloud. I wasn't paying attention anymore, I was daydreaming while the other kids stumbled and mumbled through their sentences. Then when it was my turn, I had to scramble and be told where to find my sentence, read it off quick and go back to my daydream. I don't remember not being able to read, and I've had a lifelong love affair with books.

Nick has been outstanding with my son! He is positive yet honest, very, very encouraging, does not seem to waste time with things my son already knows, and makes tutoring tolerable, since no kid wants to be tutored, especially in the summer. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Carlo was wonderful! Not only did he follow up with me a week after he helped me but he also gave me feedback after my lesson! I learned so much from him on how to use Excel that I was able to figure out how to use it for an urgent project!
I recommend him for any problems you are having with Excel!

I've been using a Mac since 1989! I had the original one-piece "fishbowl" design. I've had a Mac ever since and, as do many Mac enthusiasts/nerds, I consider my Mac a part of the family! Too many people use the Mac for years without learning just a few simple tricks that can save you lots of time. The one I'll give away right here is keyboard shortcuts -- you can automate the commands you do over and over, saving you lots of time, and reducing carpal tunnel no less! ... More
