"College Level Teaching Experience"

I hold a Doctorate (DMA) on the classical guitar and have many years of experience, including teaching guitar at Stony Brook University. I am well qualified to assist in tutoring at any level in the history or theory taught as high as the University level. For learning the guitar, I find two things to be the most important: 1. Musicianship. This includes understanding the theoretical elements of music and also developing the ability to listen to music in a constructive way. 2. Technique... ... More

I am a freshman in college majoring in engineering. I was taking hard classes and I owe it to Skyler for helping me pass every single one of my "weed out" classes. He's easy to get a hold of and he cares about every single one of his students. He communicates in a way that is easy to understand and he is just a great person.
Heidi is extremely well versed in Chemistry. She seems to be best suited for students that find it easy to work following the text book in a structured way and willing to do homework to keep up with the instructions. Overall I think she is a very good tutor. Since the tutoring is in a library versus home, it can be inconvenient for folks not having a vehicle.
