"Animator in New York"
Hi! I'm Aileen and I currently live in New York City and when I'm not working on my own animated films I spend my time tutoring and pet sitting. While in school at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago I discovered that I really enjoyed showing classmates how to best utilize the programs that we had access to for their goals. I worked as a TA and a student tutor while in Chicago and have begun to pick up the practice again while I'm now in New York.

"Fun Piano Lessons on Your Terms!"
I love to teach piano!
I've taught people of all ages and musical backgrounds, privately and in groups, and I find it fun and rewarding.
For me, making great music is about self-discovery. It's only natural to want to share your own musical discoveries with others. The foundation of my lessons is fun. The only way to truly learn and improve at something is through positive association. I believe in encouraging students. I believe in patience, flexibility, and understanding. I think onl... ... More
"Professional and fun way to learn Spanish "
I'm Nancy B., a 36 years old female with a true passion for languages. I come from Ecuador and my first language is Spanish. I have studied English, German, Portuguese and Quichua and therefore I know what you need during the process of learning a language. I have been tutoring Spanish for the last 6 years both in Quito, my born city, and New York. In 2005-2006 I tutored Spanish in Brazil as well, where I designed lessons based mostly on latin music. I have had great success with my students,... ... More

"Programming, Science, Math, Chess, and Basketball"
I have worked with youth programs in the NYC area for over 5 years and have focused primarily on my skill sets in programming, math, science, chess, and basketball. Attending Ivy League schools for undergraduate and graduate school, as well as years of working with admissions departments for colleges and private schools in my coaching experiences, I excel at test prep and application building. However, despite my personal accolades in the realms of math, science, chess, and basketball, my m... ... More
Knowledgeable, warm, patient, methodical, pleasant, prompt, accommodating, flexible, awesome, down to earth, organized, comforting, confident, funny and determined. Ben is an amazing tutor! I initially contacted WyzAnt for a tutor who had experience with APA and Word. Several tutors answered the request, and were very nice. I decided to go with Ben because he lived close by. Well, I couldn't have been luckier. I was extremely anxious because I had to submit a 100 page project on line, and my formatting was off. I am pursuing my PhD, and papers that are not formatted correctly are bounced back until correct. Ben was successful in reformatting my computer and my paper. In addition to all of that, he was teaching me how to format step by step. A HUGE undertaking. I cannot thank Ben enough. As a matter of fact, I plan to ask Ben to be my editor for my dissertation!
Thank you Ben!!

"It's not just "more school." It's a path to success."
Accounting served as the base of my overall education and an entry point to everything I needed to do. I took courses all the way through the CPA exam, and excelled in related work venues, getting opportunities in most of the areas you've heard about--government, public accounting, private business, and non-profits. How accounting is taught hasn't changed much, the good and the bad of it. I know every rough spot along the way, and I provide guidance and encouragement for my students, some of whom are current professionals who missed a thing or two in school. My specialties right now are: f ... More
