"Hand writing, fine motor, special needs"
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, I currently work with children with ADHD/ADD, as well as other diagnoses. I am trained in sensory integration techniques to help kids with attention disorders be more successful in the classroom. I am able to do this by giving them sensory input, such as deep pressure, vestibular or proprioceptive inputs, etc.; and then engaging them in an non-preferred activity.
