Sheila, in one session, helped my son have the confidence to work through math problems in the SAT book by her positive comments and support. After the session was over he mentioned there were several things he was not aware of on the SAT that proved to be helpful in him getting the right answers on a practice test he took in critical reading. After the tools she used to help him better understand the ETS and how it is written, he scored 23 out of 25 correct on the critical reading. He usually did not even attempt to finish an assignment like that before he knew what tools he could use to work his way through it more efficiently. That says a great deal about how much she cares about helping her students.

Eli served as a tutor starting midway through the second semester of trig for our son who was beginning to struggle just a little and fearful of "not getting it" and falling behind. Eli's approach allowed him to connect instantly and address the immediate fear. After the second session our son stopped questioning the relevance of trig and his own conceptual understanding and started talking about how he was performing and how quickly he could recover from the first part of the semester.
Eli remained his trig tutor throughout the semester and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend Eli to others for trig and other advanced math tutoring.

Chris is a great tutor because after he teaches you something he always reinforces concepts, which is an invaluable skill in a tutor. He responds immediately to texts, is very easy to reach and has a very flexible schedule.
