Barbara was the best thing that we could have done for our son. When I was looking for a tutor for our third grader, I saw Barbara's profile and knew that she was the right tutor to bring confidence and pride back to his math skills. Barbara came prepared to his first session and worked patiently with him to get through his fractions and help him succeed where he felt he was failing. Our son made an A on his next test and even asks for Barbara to come back and help him get through word problems. Her calm voice and gently demeanor just puts your child at ease where the learning environment is easy and positive. As the parent, not the student, I can only comment on the patient way Bruno interacted with the student. He helped him organize a strategy for learning and studying. We will have to give it time to see an improvement in grades but we are very hopeful for a positive outcome.

While it is expected to enter a relationship likes this with caution, those concerns go away immediately after setting up the initial appointment and then meeting with Sharon. My daughter could not be happier. Her confidence level has increased dramatically and even after only a few lessons improvement is measured by positive test results.
Fortunately the teacher uses lots of handouts posted on the school web site so that they have lots of material to work on in addition to the text book. The time is used very efficiently from start to finish and Sharon has been very easy to work with to schedule the time needed.
Getting the feedback from Sharon after the lesson is also very useful.
