"Successful Bar Examinee Specializing in Law School & Bar Exam Prep"

I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I attended undergrad at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers) and upon graduation, I began working as a tutor. During my tenure, I tutored at-risk youth in preparation for passing the LEAP Test (a test required in Louisiana to advance to the next grade level). My students ranged from third grade to seventh grade. In 2012, I started law school and graduated from the Arizona State University- Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. While there,... ... More

We stumbled upon David in a mode of panic after my AP Chemistry student (grade 11) started to stumble in quiz scores. David is thorough and concise explaining material thoroughly. Having taught the subject before, he knows how to present the material on the students level. My daughter came home from her first session stating. "I can tell he is a teacher by the way he speaks slowly as he is reviewing and explaining my questions". Her two past quiz scores have been in the low 90's and she is anxiously waiting on her last test score (feeling good about it).

Mr. P offers more academic and professional knowledge than you're likely to get with any other tutor. He has extensive experience in both academia and the professional world, so he helps you do well in classes while giving you insight into professional life. You can really tell that he loves to tutor people. Every tutoring session comes with detailed handouts and he does a great job researching and understanding the topics you need help with. His communication is great, and you feel like the tutoring continues throughout the week with his consistent e-mails. I highly recommend him.

"Patent and Compassionate PhD Organic Chemistry Tutor"

I love tutoring students in organic chemistry. I believe I'm one of the best tutors you can get and I offer a lot of value for my services: I often help students that other tutors have been unable to reach. If you feel desperate, contact me. I emphasize learning how to think and using basic chemical concepts to solve a problem. I focus on mechanisms to teach reactions and I generally shy away from memorization. I enjoy helping students learn the art of synthesis. It is a lot like a soph... ... More

Xavier is a very professional tutor who has a lot of patience and knowledge to give. His teaching methods are very understandable and he does not use difficult language to explain the information. I received tutoring in one of the hardest subjects, physics, and I passed physics one and two with an A. He is very easy to reach by phone or email and always tries to make himself available. I reached out to him recently for help on Calculus because I know he can help explain the material.

"Excellent Math and Science Tutor"

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY My teaching philosophy is very simple: teach students how to teach themselves. By teaching students the art of self-learning, their confidence in their learning ability will improve while they develop and enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills. These skills are important, because they are applicable in any endeavor, such as being a doctor, engineer, attorney, or an entrepreneur. TEACHING STYLE My teaching style is also very simple: teach to be taug... ... More

"Learning should be fun!"

Learning should be fun! As a tutor, my job entails motivating my students in addition to educating them. I have a passion for teaching, and I would love to help you achieve your academic goals. Please contact me and let me know how I can assist you. Science Tutoring Some aspects of science are counter-intuitive, which is why a good tutor can go a long way. Bruce is quite accurate when tutoring. I plan on working with Bruce again in the future and would tell others about him.
Working with Carole was very enjoyable and informative experience! She is a very smart and patient woman. She helped me prepare for my GED math exam. Because of her and the time she spent with me, I was accepted into the University I hoped to attend. I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with, not only an amazing teacher, but also an amazing person. :)
We were very happy with Erin as a tutor for eighth grade math. Because she teaches in the Knox County system, she knows the curriculum very well. She has a gentle, positive manner which is really helpful for kids with math anxiety. Highly recommend!
I am repeat nclex taker and she is really helping understand concept and she is always easy to talk to or answer questions
