"Experienced, bilingual ESL and business tutor"
I worked as an HR Manager and then a Communications Director and then qualified in England as an ESL teacher in 2001. I have taught ESL to students from all over the world. I know what it is like to live outside my home country: I lived in Portugal, Spain, England, and have now returned home to the USA. I also can relate to the experience of learning a new language: I became fluent in Spanish while living in Spain and subsequently taught Spanish to high school and adult students. Concurren... ... I have had many courses to date and have learned a lot since I began my tutoring sessions. I appreciate everything Luciana taught me and will now begin my own self study. Good luck and arrivederci.

"Italian Mother Tongue & French "
I have tutored various students ranging from elementary, junior high to college undergraduates in Italian (my mother tongue) and French.
I am very passionate about the student's interest in learning another language (I speak 4 languages) and honor their interest by offering a really caring approach: learning a foreign language widens perspectives and knowledge.
I care about giving students the best for their learning, helping them to identify ways to continue their learning experience e... ... More

"Let’s learn together!"
Hello there! I’ve always loved helping others which is why I decided to become a doctor. I spent 6 years in China studying medicine where I obtained an MBBS degree. Now that I am back home I am preparing for my licensing exams so that I can become a licensed physician in the US.
Upon being a student in China, I taught in a few English schools where I taught the local children and adults English: grammar, reading and proper pronunciation. I also did a lot of private tutoring of all ages. I... ... More

"Tutor for a Mix of Subjects"
My name is Andy, and I live in the Allentown, PA area. I graduated from a Master of Divinity program (sort of like a master's in theology) in the spring of 2017. Before that, I went to Pennsylvania State University, where I majored in biomedical sciences. While I have not been paid to tutor up until now, I have helped teach in the past in informal settings. For example, I spent some time in By the Hand Club for Kids in Chicago, IL, which is an after-school tutoring program. I also have taught... ... More

Claudia is a phenomenal tutor! Her knowledge and skill-set helped me to understand the subject matter. Of equal importance, her patience and encouragement gave me the confidence in myself that was also very fundamental to my ability to do well in this class. Claudia offered thorough explanations to all of my questions and did a lot of preparation prior to each session to ensure that our sessions were productive and that I would have information to refer back to afterwards. Through working with Claudia, I was not only able to come out of the class with a good grade, but I was also able to find a level of interest and appreciation for the subject that I never thought I would. I highly recommend Claudia as a tutor. She is very flexible, always made herself available, and genuinely believed in me and wanted to see me succeed. For those to whom the difficult science courses do not always come naturally - such as myself - Claudia provides a combination of subject specific study skills, explanation, demonstration and a much needed morale boost that will help any student excel. Thank you so much, Claudia, for all of your wonderful help!

"Patient, knowledgeable, effective Chemistry tutor"
Although I am currently a Senior Analytical Chemist, I was a high school certified chemistry teacher in Romania for four years, before coming to the United States. While working as a teacher, I also tutored a number of high school students in Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and especially Organic Chemistry, as well as in math. I had a lot of success with students considered to be at the lowest level of the class by their teachers. It turned out that a little one on one attention, as ... ... More

Dave helped our son get through algebra 2 with his clear approach and thorough explanations. My son appreciated his patient, friendly style of teaching. Dave was always there and ready to go when we requested. We will definitely use him for future math tutoring.

We met for two hours today and I must say, the two hours were well spent. We covered a lot of material that is necessary for me to know for a test I will be taking the latter part of the week.
