Vincent has been an excellent tutor for my 14 year old daughter. He helps her in all areas including Math, Reading, Writing and critical thinking. He is willing to create his own lessons or work with my daughter on her actual homework, which really helps her. Vincent is very patient and his experience with teaching students with learning disabilities really is obvious. I highly recommend him!

"Patient and Friendly Public Speaking Tutor"
I am a 45 year-old single parent of 2 daughters. I graduated locally from Pleasant Valley High School in 1984. I attended a college near Harrisburg for paralegal studies. However, doing better at accounting, I made plans to transfer to a different college to start in January of 1986. Prior to switching colleges, I was approached with a job opportunity at our local courthouse because I was friendly and outgoing. I had worked in the Treasurer's office for 2 years when I was approached by a ... ... More
My son had essentially a month to prepare for his second round of SAT's. His scores in English and writing had to increase or he would have limited possibility of getting into the universities he desired. Within essentially a month, Jim was able to connect with my son and train him to think differently about his approach to the SAT test. I was amazed to see the conversion in my son's attitude and his self confidence soared. Regardless of what the final scores come out to be, Jim's unique style and patience left a marked impression on my son.

"Competent, Engaging Tutor in History, English and Math"
I am an encourager by nature, so being a tutor allows me to do what I do best. I have experience teaching in public and private schools, in addition to my extensive tutoring background; but I enjoy being able to give individual instruction that is tailored to the specific needs, personality, and learning style of the student. I am a parent myself and I have also worked with youth groups for many years, so there is a comfort level with teens ---I don't find them strange, intimidating, or una... ... More

"Public Speaking/Theatre COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY!"
Hi, I took a Creative Writing class in college, so this is right up my alley. I think I have wanted to be a teacher for most of my life. My first teaching experience came about when I was in the eighth grade when my Gym teacher asked me to teach the "hustle" to a group of students that had various learning and physical disabilities. As an adult, I have taught Vacation Bible School programs to Pre-K, 1st and 2nd graders at my church and taught the Catechism program to 5th graders for five year... ... More
