Cassandra is doing and excellent job and keeping our son on task and organized. Since Cassandra was hired she has been helping our son stay focused on doing him homework and doing it right. He got an A on his spelling test on Tuesday and he was very pleased with himself. He is actually excited to plow through his homework so he can get another good grade! As time goes on it will build his academic self esteem. thanks again Cassandra for your patience and ability to help our son.

"English teacher"

My first year of teaching was at an elementary school (K-8) in Ely, Nevada. Having grown up in Spokane, this was not only a lonely move but a “treeless” one. So I returned the next year to Spokane and worked first as a Library Clerk in District #81 and then as a full-time librarian for ten years at a middle school. In 1986 I replaced the librarian at Central Valley. Over the next few years I helped bring the internet to CV in the form of computer labs that weren’t connected with each othe... ... More

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. WEI C.!: We have been looking for someone to assist our son with his problem sets for his math competition program for gifted children. The problem sets are exceptionally challenging and although I have two graduate degrees in applied math based areas, I found myself unable to help him with many of the problems. I searched high and low for a tutor, but could not find someone who could get him through the problem sets in a timely matter. The first five tutors we tried in our area complained that the problems were too hard for our son, and that we were expecting too much from him (they all had graduate degrees in math based areas). Only Dr. C. had the patience to not only explain the material, but to also teach our son how to do the problems so that our son was able to learn how to critically approach the material. Our son has been so pleased that he can tackle these challenging problem sets, and was smiling and having a good time through all of his sessions with Dr. Wei C. Dr. C. also explained some of the history of mathematics to our son, and tied in several stories about various ancient Greek mathematicians - I am very impressed and highly recommend Dr. Wei C.!
Daniel has been tutoring my middle school age daughter in Latin the past three months. In that time, my daughter has become much more comfortable and confident in her Latin work and has gone from hating her Latin class to opting to continue with Latin studies next year. Daniel did a great job helping to reinforce new material that was presented in school, prepare for upcoming tests, and explain anything that was confusing to my daughter. Daniel's personality and teaching style were a great fit for my daughter. He is friendly and personable, calm and even-keeled, and seemed to truly enjoy helping my daughter to learn and gain confidence. I very much appreciated that Daniel always arrived at our home for tutoring sessions promptly and never cancelled a session - this stability most definitely helped us to have a great, successful experience with Daniel. I highly recommend Daniel.
Norma is a professional tutor! She has a friendly attitude to her students. She always picks those exercises that help me practice and we combine the book with videos and speaking. That's very helpful and keeps me involved and allows me to stay interested and enjoy each 1.5 hour class! I appreciate her work with me and I see a huge improvement in my Spanish. I highly recommend Norma to both beginners and people with some knowledge of Spanish.
