I am a certified teacher, a literacy specialist, a certified literacy coach, trained and certified in several Orton-Gillingham based reading programs and have taken workshops and been to conferences pertaining to special needs students and students with attention issues. "BA in English, Experienced Campus Tutor and Peer Tutor Trainer"

I am what I like to call a "word person." I have always loved working with words--grammar, literature, vocabulary, even those pesky analogies! But more importantly for you, I also love to help others feel less intimidated and more confident when it comes to expressing themselves in essays, understanding literature, and preparing for standardized tests. I have a bachelor's degree in English. For several years while earning that degree, I worked as a peer English tutor on campus. After gra... ... More

Adam has been an awesome tutor for my son. My son didn't think it was possible for him to understand algebra, but Adam has given him the confidence to enter his math class knowing he can. Adam is very patient and my son always looks forward to his lesson with him. We will continue to use Adam for as long as my son needs him. I can't thank him enough for giving my son confidence in his abilities. Thank you Adam, you are a great tutor!
Over the years I've met very few people like Christopher; his patience is unbelievable. I'm sure anyone else would have given up on me. He was so professional and very knowledgeable in MS Access, which is very difficult to find. My complicated problem in MS Access was solved! I am so glad to have worked with Christopher and expect to continue in the near future.
