I would encourage anyone who is on this site looking for a tutor to consider Judy. Initially I was skeptical about finding a tutor through such a portal and, to be honest, my expectations were very high. Judy has exceeded those expecations in every way imaginable. Her ability to identify the student's challenges and, subsequently, develop a methodology for teaching based on those needs has amazed me. I only wish that I would have had someone like her to teach me when I was a student. I'm forever grateful to her!
Jason is a great help with pre-cal and physics. He knows how to explain things where they make sense. I always look forward to our next session. I keep bringing different problems and he lets me work them then steps in to show me how to do them.
My daughter needed urgent help understanding fractions. Anand went above and beyond, focusing on fundamentals she had forgotten as well as the immediate need to learn the concept of fractions. He was great at building rapport with her too! Thanks Anand!
Mary goes well above anything I expected from a tutor. She prepares separate material to use in our sessions. She is very patient and is not in any rush to cover the material. If I have any questions, she makes sure I understand the answer before we move on to the next part of the lesson. She has a very nice personality and is very easy to work with. I am lucky to have found her to assist me in learning Tagalog.
