I'd like to become certified in accounting. I feel like much of the accounting seen in business courses is managerial or financial accounting, which is more finance than accounting, in my opinion. Ive passed the 3 levels of the CFA exam, of which a large part of each is financial statement analysis. The areas of accounting that are not a part of traditional finance, or the CFA program, would be more on the tax/estate/putting together an accounting journal/etc side of things.
