This gentleman has now been my tutor for four weeks and I have excelled in my classes of graduate level Pharmacology and Pathology. Last evening Dr. W. and I conducted a two hour intensive review to prepare me for upcoming oral examinations. He proved to be more exceptional and patient than ever. I learn so much from our sessions that I have decided to continue my study with him for longer than initially thought.

Matt is a fantastic tutor because he has a sharp insight into the fundamentals of math. Whereas some tutors have a superficial understanding, Matt is quick to get at the basic principles being tested. GRE and GMAT are about getting the common rules of math, and instead of being focused on the small picture, Matt can easily explain the big principle rules that you will see in many questions. He is a very sharp guy, always on time, likable, and easy to reach. I highly recommend him.

"MIT/Harvard Grad for Academic Tutoring & Test Prep"
I earned a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam in high school, and as an undergraduate at MIT I spent two years working in a renowned biomedical engineering laboratory designing iron oxide nanoparticles for cancer imaging and therapy. My work won a $1000 MIT Biomedical Engineering Society's Award for Research Excellence, awarded to only five MIT undergraduate and master's students each year; I'm also second author on the peer-reviewed article we published. ... It was extremely difficult to find a tutor for the level of math I am currently taking which includes multivariate calculus and optimization. Matt, however, is great at explaining these tougher concepts, as well as, linking them to more simple ones. Without Matt, I would be incapable of reinforcing what I learn in class and I plan on continuing to use his help to this end. Anyone feeling hopeless trying to search for a college level math tutor? Your search ends here!

"Tutor in Finance/Economics/NASD Series 7"
I'd like to become certified in accounting. I feel like much of the accounting seen in business courses is managerial or financial accounting, which is more finance than accounting, in my opinion. Ive passed the 3 levels of the CFA exam, of which a large part of each is financial statement analysis.
The areas of accounting that are not a part of traditional finance, or the CFA program, would be more on the tax/estate/putting together an accounting journal/etc side of things. I have no interest in tutoring in them anyway. But for the financial and managerial accounting, which are grouped on t ... More

Marc has been tutoring two of my children, a 13 year old and a sixteen year old, both males, and he has been doing a fantastic job. He is responsible and dependable. He is patient. He explains well. He adjusts his lessons so both of my sons look forward to the tutoring and value it highly. They both have very good grades in math, and for at least one of the boys, his grade is substantially better than it would have been without the tutoring. The other boy's grade is definitely improved as well.

"Natasha from Princeton: Chemistry and Science"
My main teaching strategy is to achieve full understanding of a subject starting with the initial preparation level and taking into account the individual features of a student. I always try to delineate the problem as specifically as possible and to target it progressively in the course of studies. I work with students interactively, emphasizing the problem solving skills and creative thinking. My approach is to set the goals for a particular student and then focus on accomplishing these goa... ... More
