My girls felt so much better with geometry and their confidence was regained. I had her come back for a second time the same week to keep their confidence, even their math teacher was impressed with their improvement and was able to see how much they had learned and understood. Now we just have to keep it up. A little expensive but well worth it, Andrea is definitely my girls' "life saver," thank you. Will continue to use her.

"99th Percentile Tutor: SAT, ACT, Calculus, Physics, Precalculus, GRE"
Turn yours struggles into success! I have been tutoring for over fourteen years and have worked with students of diverse backgrounds. I began tutoring during high school as a volunteer tutor to an algebra class at a private Catholic school in my community. I had always assisted my peers in class, so tutoring formally came very naturally to me. My high school guidance counselors saw how much I excelled at math and science, as well as how my I enjoyed sharing my affinity for those subjects with... ... More

My son is very happy with the calculus BC lessons he receives from Steven. He clearly explains all concepts and never wastes his time. My son sends him the problems he has beforehand and Steven works them out so that during the lesson they are moving as quickly as possible. Also, Steven sends him useful review sheets through email when the lessons are over. I highly recommend Steven as a tutor for Calculus!

"Creative and Patient Math Tutor"
I have been teaching and tutoring more than 20 years in mathematics. I use good listening, simple language, and a sense of humor to make difficult subjects easy to understand and fun by using everyday language and real-world examples. I also have a love for the creative use for technology which allows me to make instructional videos for student remediation. I have benefited from extended time with a large variety of student populations, from College, to high school AP students, to at-risk st... ... More

My son REALLY enjoys working with Carolyn B. After the first meeting he said to me, "Isn't it weird how you can just meet someone for the first time and they are already making such a difference in your life?" After the second meeting, he was so excited to get going with his homework that he spent another hour working on it because he was so excited about what he had learned during his time with her. She was quick to figure out his learning style and has motivated him to challenge himself to become a better reader. We feel blessed to have the opportunity to have her work with our son and would highly recommend her to anyone else that is seeking a tutor!

I am a current chemistry undergraduate student at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont. I am also working on a minor in philosophy and thought.
