Moire is amazing! She had an upbeat, positive personality that kept my son engaged for 2 hours. He enjoyed the session and can't wait to see her again. He learned so much from her while having fun. If only all teachers could be like this!

If somebody asked me six months ago which academic subjects I hated the most in my university life, I would definitely have said it’s writing. But having worked with Ms. Shelley for the past six months, I learned that writing is a subject that could be just as interesting and exciting as science, where we always learn new things. Being a very curious person, many teachers have considered me as an annoyance for asking questions that are hard to answered or ambiguous. But Ms. Shelley being a very supportive tutor has always been patient with me and answered all my questions with excellent explanations and strong details. Additionally, her teaching method can only be described as excellent, with a strong focus on details and perfection. Conclusively, I believe that Ms. Shelley is an excellent tutor; she is very supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is an honor for me, to recommend her to anybody who’s searching for a tutor to improve his or her English writing and speaking skills.
Priscilla is an extremely gifted tutor: knowledgeable, perceptive, and patient. Her wealth of artistic experience — her education, her Italian art and cultural experiences, as an artist herself & as a tutor —gives her the ability to adapt to whatever comes up in a lesson. Relaxed, encouraging and very specific in her critiquing, she gently opens doors to new ways of seeing and experimenting, plus learning and research you can do yourself. I came wanting to learn to use gouache and left knowing that my real first step was to learn a fundamental of drawing I hadn’t mastered: perspective! She did not dictate this — not at all! She merely led me to my own conclusion. I, who took years of art classes, saw that despite my treasured paintings and drawings, I still lack a firm grasp of perspective. Thus, I have been hampered artistically. (Of course, she didn’t say this. It was my own inescapable realization. Priscilla definitely stimulates self-analysis.) This doesn’t change the value of what I’ve already accomplished; instead, it will expand my artistic freedom and other resources from now on. I am greatly indebted to Priscilla G. and to WyzAnt. Thank you!
