Gerald goes in-depth with everything, so aside from learning what you're supposed to learn, you're equipped with knowledge that could help you if music is your passion. he responds to emails extremely quickly and is friendly upon meeting. my first time meeting him wasn't awkward at all, his presence felt very homey. Also, at the end of the lesson, he played a bit of a piano piece for my parents and I, and what he has written on his business card is true. He is a master of classical piano.

Leanne is an excellent teacher and very professional. She is detailed oriented, patient, kind, and very likable. She is extremely knowledgeable about children with special needs including ADD/ADHD, and the resources available to us within LAUSD. She is teaching my daughter study skills and organizational techniques which will last her throughout her academic years. Each week I receive a progress report detailing the session which really helps us to maintain consistency throughout the week and helps to facilitate my daughter's progress. Leanne is not a homework helper and is far more than a tutor. If you are looking for someone to help your child learn the skills needed to be a good student, such as techniques to study independently, make the most of classroom time, stay organized, and set goals for progress, Leanne is an excellent choice and I highly recommend her.

"Credentialed Teacher Skilled in K-6 Ed., English, & Computer Apps."
In order to obtain my teaching credential in California, I was required to take a course about working with children with learning and developmental disabilities, including ADD/ADHD, Aspergers, and Autism. I grew up with a brother who had ADD/ADHD, and was able to observe the changes he went through with his disability as he matured. My oldest child has high-functioning Autism, and was once diagnosed with Aspergers and Pervasive Development Disorder. My experience as a teacher in the public school system (grades K-12) has exposed me to children with varying levels of these disabilities, and ... More
